Dr. Oluwaseun Odu

There is a moment that many patients describe after their first appointment with Dr. Odu. They walk out and realise, sometimes for the first time in years, that they felt genuinely heard.
That does not happen by accident.
Dr. Oluwaseun Odu grew up understanding that access to good medicine is not something everyone can take for granted. That understanding shaped the kind of doctor he chose to become — one who takes the time, asks the questions others skip, and treats the person rather than the appointment slot.
He trained at the University of Lagos, one of Africa's most respected centres of medical education, before travelling to England to pursue specialty training in family medicine. There he earned his Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners — the qualification that defines excellence in British general practice. It was not enough. A genuine passion for the breadth and depth of family medicine brought him further still, to Canada, where he earned his Certificate of the College of Family Physicians of Canada — one of the most demanding family medicine credentials anywhere in the world.
Three countries. Three rigorous certifications. One consistent purpose — to be the kind of doctor that patients remember not because of the certificate on the wall, but because of how they felt walking out of the room.
At Parkside Family Health, Dr. Odu offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages — from children to seniors, from same-day urgent concerns to the ongoing management of chronic conditions, from preventive care and mental health support to the kind of unhurried conversation that helps you understand what is actually happening with your health.
He practises in Runnymede and Bloor West Village because this community chose him just as much as he chose it. He intends to be here for a long time.
